Can you help me finding an answer on Black soot around Heat Registers. We have had the furnace people in but all was checked as being ok.. The furnace was cleaned etc and the technichian could not explain.

I suggest you call another furnace service company because that can only come from the furnace and there are some causes that can cause you more problems than just soot!
