I have a heat pump that freezes solid around the coils when its below freezing outside and it doesn't defrost itself. Is this something I can fix or can you recommend a contractor or company that services heat pumps in my neck of the woods.

I don't know where your neck of the woods is but any good heating/cooling contractor can fix that up in a couple of minutes. This is not necessarily going to be cheap.
