Question:

We hope to be moving into a newly constructed home next March. I am wondering if I should add a power humidifier to the gas furnace right away or will there be more than enough humidity as the wood construction dries out? If no, how long should I wait before adding this item?

Answer:

I'd add one right away but make sure its a 'flow through' type so you don't end up with standing water.
