Question:

I am going to be re-siding my house this summer and I want to put on the exterior insulation board under the siding. As I understand, you go around the whole house but not the part around the attic so how do you get a flush finish with the siding between the insulated house and the non-insulated attic?

Answer:

Build out the house above the insulated portion with 2" stock lumber and attach your new siding to it.
