I have an attached garage which is unheated but I would like to insulate before drywall in case I ever want to heat it on occasion.I heard that there was no need for a vapour barrier if it wasn't heated all winter long and that it was actually better without.Is this true?

I can't say because I've never dared to it that way and I've never had a problem when I unsulated and vapour barriered the whole thing.
