Question:

We would like to repaint or wallpaper interior walls in our hallway, kitchen and living room. We would appreciate if you could answer the following questions :
1. What is more resistant to staining by dirty hands and easier to wash, satin paint or wallpaper ? (The flat paint we have now gets stained very quickly by our children ).
2. How much more expensive is wallpapering than painting?
3. What is the best stain resistant and washable finish for interior walls?

Answer:

Every question you have depends on how deep your pockets are and how far in your hand will reach. Perhaps a bit more practical research is in order here.
