I have a new wall, done the primer paint, sized it, put on paper! Paper turned out wrong, separated at seams. I have now removed the paper,( had to wet some to remove). DO I NOW HAVE TO APPLY A SECOND COAT OF SIZING BEFORE I REPAPER?
Answer:
There are a couple of possibilities here but I don't think either of them include putting on a second coat of sizing unless the first coat was not given enough time to cure before paper was applied. That's one, and the second one is that the paper was worked too much once you applied it. A very little bit of stretching will sometimes create surprisingly wide gaps between the sheets.
