Question:

My tub is looking very sad and should be replaced or relined. problem 3 years ago I redid ceramic floors and replaced counter and new sink because of tight space. I don't know what would be the best way to go. Bathroom is only 8' by 5' and tub is 30" by 60" and is wall to wall. What would be the best way to update my bathtub and surround without taking everything apart. Living room floor - I refinished the hardwood floor and opened up the wall from just a door entry to

Answer:

I'd just glue sheet vinyl flooring to the whole thing. You can take it to the ceiling if you like because it comes in sheets of whatever size you want and you end up with only a seam at the top and another at the tub. I did some of these in the past and to the best of my knowledge, they're all still in use years later. You also have all but a limitless choice of colours and patterns.
