I have had black granite counters in my kitchen for about 12 months now. There are faint rings/circles on the granite. I'm guessing they are from my daughter's milk cup. I've tried a few different cleaners, the latest a granite cleaner/sealer, but alas no luck.

The folks who sold you the countertop will be able to recommend something to you. Some of these tops are composites of materials so you'll have to be careful what you use or you're liable to ruin the finish on the whole thing - or at least in the area you treat.
Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
