Question:

The concrete foundation along the front of my house has never been finished (parged). I would like to finish it myself, however, I'm unsure what material to use. Do I require stucco wire or can the material be applied directly to the concrete? I did find an exterior stucco product which can be brushed or rolled on. I don't imagine that's what the pros use, though.

Answer:

You can probably use the product you found and end up with a better finished job than anything else. Don't forget, everybody caters to the do-it-yourselfer. Once these things come on the market, they've already been put through more tests than you and I will ever demand of them.
