I have recently found mice droppings in my dishwasher. Needless to say I have been washing my dishes by hand ever since. Last night I cleaned out the dishwasher, ran it through a wash cycle with javex and once the cycle was finished, I kept the door in a locked position and still there were new mice droppings this morning.

This is a new one because if there were a hole somewhere water would be showing up on the floor in that area. About the only path available to them is the breather pipe on the side of most machines but it takes a rather inquisitive critter to find that.
