Our captain's chair of our table and chair set has sticky arms at the ends where your hands are placed to stand up from chair. The arms have been furniture polished over the years but not in the last two years. How can I remove the sticky build-up of polish without removing the finish?

Simply wash it with varsol or some other mild grease cutter.
