Is there an easy way to remove a burned methylated spirit stain off an antique wooden table. Some one told me to rub ash into the stain, which I have done but there seems to be little improvement?
Answer:
Once a chemical reaction has taken place, and burns create just that, there isn't much to do about it except to re-finish the surface.
