I painted my steps two weeks ago with some old (20yrs) one coat floor paint (latex). It still has a bad smell and I was woundering how to get rid of it?

Patience. Time is the only thing that will do away with that odour but if the paint is not blistering nor peeling, it should stand up as well as it was meant to.
