Can I paint over cupboard doors in the kitchen that were painted and then varathaned, or do I have to sand the varathane completely off?
Answer:
That would take an acre of sandpaper. Remove all the hardware and take a heat gun and a 3" putty knife to it and it will come of well enough to be painted with very little sanding.
