Top > Paint > Caulking

Question:

I have to do something with the outside of my windows. After I clean off the old caulking, do I put the new caulking on & then paint? I understand polyurethane caulking is best. Can I use latex paint with that or should I use oil-base?

Answer:

Once you've got it completely clean you can read on the caulking compound container how to approach the painting phase and what kind of paint to use on it.
