Question:

the owners before us had painted the tub and now its starting to peel, underneath the tub is in good shape, so we have decided to just peel the rest and leave as is,the top and outer side are not coming off as good as the inner, what would you suggest to make it easier to peel and not harm the actual tub.

Answer:

You might try a heat gun and a plastic scrubbing pad. Use the heat gun with discretion.
