I would like to paint our house foundation to match the siding. Will this trap moisture in the basement or will it help keep the moisture out?
Answer:
It will do neither but it will give you a paint chore every couple of years. You'll have trouble matching the colours so you might try experimenting in a somewhat inconspicuous location first.
