Question:

I fixed the problem that I had with my basement floor. We dug the sump down to the level of the plastic insert, and it seems to have resolved the bubbling paint on the basement floor, except for one area. Do you have any suggestions? (i.e. Did we dig far enough, and we didn't know if we should dig further than the insert because there is one small area that still has seeping.)

Answer:

You dug far enough but you may be dealing with a pocket of collected water that will take longer to seep over to the drain than the rest of the floor. It may take some time but it will eventually create its own route and dry out.
