Top > Attic > Garage

Question:

You did the inspection of our house back in 1987. At first we just trapped them with the wooden traps but after a few months and 7 or 8 mice later we called in the professionals. They checked for possible entryways and didn't really find any sure places. They seem to run in the false ceiling in our basement so they put in poison and glue stick pads. They caught nothing in a few months so we went back to the traps and caught a bunch more.

Answer:

Just because they got into the garage doesn't mean they were able to go through to the house. Good seals and a screen over the garage attic hatch will stop them. There are poisons that can be set out for them and they do a good job. The good ones also consume the carcass so you don't get an odour. Talk to another exterminator.
