Question:

I am planning on installing a three passenger spa in my basement. A lot of people have worned me of the possible troubles caused be humidity. However, I'm still wondering. My spa will always be covered (except when used), and I find my house a bit on the dry side, 50%.
Will this spa really cause a humidity problem?

Answer:

Yes it will unless you have a separate, very effective fan system to remove atmospheric humidity.
