Question:
I live in the country east outside of Ottawa (ON). And the house was built in '75, when i moved in there was rust stains in all the tub, toilet, etc etc. and i opened the faucets.. rust came on both cold and hot systems.. it was okay after a couple days , but this egg stink and weird taste stayed. i have hard water, and running a dual water softener system. Now my question is , is there any thing i could do to flush out all the pipes of calcium build up or anything else in the pipes to get good water again if this is the case?

Talk to someone locally who deals in water treating products because you have several problems and I believe they can all be cleared up quite easily.
