Question:

I live in a condominiun complex. Our water bill for this year was 750$ a unit per year. Our neighbours in identical units payed Aprox 440.00 a unit. We have 4 meaters controling the 79 units. I was told by the city to make sure no water is being used in the homes and see if the meter is still turning to see if we have an underground leak. Is this the best method to use to test for underground leaks and if we do have one or more how do we find them. The condo is 25 years old and we did find one underground leak in the past by chance because the grass was very green in an area.

Answer:

You may need to go beyond that and hire a qualified plumber to do the research for you.
