Question:

I poured a shower base in our basement and by mistake I got some cement liquid in the p-trap. The shower still drains but very slowly. Is there anything I can pour down the drain to eat out the cement.

Answer:

That, I'm afraid is there to stay until you replace the trap. Anything that would neutralize the cement would certainly neutralize the trap.

In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.

Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
