Question:

Our 1st well went dry and we had another well drilled (330 ft). Costing $10,000, $5000 for plumbing, $5000 for equipment to improve the water from this well only to find out afterwards that the water is way to salty for consumption and will eat our pipes out within the year. Do we have any recourse with the well driller, our understanding is that they drill, get water and leave, does not matter the quality.

Answer:

This is a legal matter so your first stop is your lawyer because thatis a qualification I do not have.

In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.

Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
