The popup stopper always come unhooked when the wife is cleaning the sink. It is definetly installed properly each time but keeps unhooking. Plse advise corrective action. New popup stopper has been purchased and the same thing occurs.

The stem that goes into the end of the stopper needs to be a bit longer. You can normally slide the ball along about a quarter of an inch and that will do it.
