We have recently installed bathtub (4yrs ago) with a pop-up drain and it is pluging up. How do I remove the plug? The trap is excessable but it does not have a drain plug also it has only one joint that you can undo the rest is glued.

You might have to dismantle this from the overflow valve. That is often where you find the gizmo that hooks to the plug.
