We have a 4 bdrm 1 bath on a slab. We want to split the existing bath in two for an ensuite and add a 1/2 bath where the laundry room is. Can you tie 2 toilets to the same drain? can sinks also go to the same underground drain pipe?
Answer:
Provided the added toilet and sink is six feet or less from the main stack you should have no problem. There is the consideration though that if a toilet or the stack beyond the tie-in gets plugged, you may end up with everything coming up the other one when you plunge it. I think I'd go to the trouble of separate attachments to the stack.
