Question:

We have a 3 yr old, 3 storey house. At our request the builder located the washing machine on the 3rd floor. It's great! However, when the spin cycle starts the glasses shake in our semi detached nieghbour's kitchen. I've had the w/machine checked, it's balanced. What can I do?

Answer:

Move the washing machine down to the basement where it belongs. I know you lose a lot of convenience but that is a very powerful machine and sooner or later, no matter what you do with it, its going to cause problems.
