Question:

I am the owner of a new home that's less than 2 years old, and I want to build an enclosed laundry room to contain the dust because we have a lot of allergies and are taking as many measures as possible to control air quality. What are my best options to properly balance air circulation in the new area with our wishes for containment, and what steps should we take to prepare the floor and walls in the selected area?

Answer:

Your best bet for containment is an exhaust fan vented to the outside and there are many of them on the market.
