Question:

I have central air and when the air condition comes on water comes out around the bottom of my furnace. I know that sometimes they do sweat but this is a substantial amount and starts to build up in the coner of my basement which I believe will eventually cause a mold problem. What I want to know is what could be causing this so I don't get ripped off when I call a repair man to come look at it.

Answer:

Unless the unit is old and in need of repairs, this is a simple adjustment of the units control system.
