Somewhere between my first floor and the canister of my central vac system there is a blockage as I have no pressure. I tried putting a hose down but no luck, I cleaned out the canister but still no luck. Is there something with lots of suction power I could attach to the opening to unlodge the blockage.

This is something that you may have to use an electrician's fish tape on and then it might not completely go through but you should be able to dislodge it with that.
