Question:

You mentioned an 18inch diameter fan. (square?) Is this a fan that blows or a bathroom fan that exhausts? If the former, how do I attach a venting run to it?

Answer:

Bathroom exhaust fans are made specifically for that purpose and the housing permits you to install a run of duct to it for that. The large square fan I mention is not meant for this purpose.
