Question:

I want to sell 2 appliances that are 220 voltage: a washer/dryer unit and a gas stove. If someone were to purchase them here and use them with our voltage, what would they have to do (converter, etc)? And, how would one remove brown 'packing tape' remains on a metal surface, namely white appliances?

Answer:

The cost of conversion will probably be greater than the cost of replacement because conductors, controls and elements all have to be done as far as I know. Taking the packing tape off will be easy with a heat gun.
