Question:

The AC tubing running on the ceiling of the recreation room coming from the central AC unit outside has a lot of condensation on it; also there is condensation on the furnace unit. What could cause this?

Answer:

Before things start to really deteriorate, get in touch with your technician because that is not supposed to happen. It may be something as simple as upgrading the insulation on the tubing but it could also be a mal-function causing the temperature difference between what is in the tube and the general basement atmosphere.
