Question:

My home is about 30yrs old and I have clay brick on the outside wall that is totally faded, I went to a home improvement store and I saw they have a product called "Ultra Gloss Sealer" that promises to restore and maintain the natural look, can I use this product to restore the original colour on the clay brick?
I am planning to install an exhaust fan, I notice they have an aluminium flexable material that many experts on TV recommend because it's very easy to work with, would you recommend the said material or is it better to use ABS pipe? I was made to understand that the flexable material lasts approximately 20yrs.

Answer:

I do not deal in brand names so you'll have to do your own research on that one. The exhaust fan ducting, if it doesn't travel more than about 15 feet, will work well with the ribbed aluminum product and I've never heard of it breaking down after 20 years. I've never used ABS for that.
