Question:

I hear about a revolutionary way to save on energy to heat the water one uses "tankless water heaters". Only two of us live in the bungalow. I wonder if you could give me an idea if it would be financially worthwhile to convert to such a system. Did you ever discuss this new concept on your shows? Have you heard if anyone on the Ottawa (ON) area is doing this? Is it feasible for our climate? And one of my last question is...if installed, how long would I have to pay for it to break even financially.

Answer:

The more I learn about this concept the more impressed I am with it but I have not tried it so it means, like you, I'm going to have to do more research on it.
