Question:

I am trying to cut back on my electrictiy expenses and I am wondering if I would save electricity by only having my hot water tank on for a few hours at a time. I live alone and there is not a lot of hot water used throughout the day. I doubt I even empty the tank half way each day.

Answer:

You'll save a lot more by investing in a smaller tank.
