Question:

A friend of my mother's is having one installed which will cost $1,500. Mother got a quote from another company for $500. She is not clear on the differences between them. What would account for the price difference? How do they actually work? In your opinion, are they worth it?

Answer:

Clean air is certainly worth the investment but I find the first price a bit high. The differences (if any)will be quite clear once you refer to the ownership manuals for both.
