Question:

I've been told that laundry waste water is a leading cause of septic failure due to the lint clogging the field. I have been searching fruitlessly to purchase some kind of filter to attach to the laundry machine and have had no luck. (in Canada) I have been told by a septic guy to steer clear if possible from the baffle filters (in tank) Do you know of anywhere I can purchase one of these ? Have you heard of them ?

Answer:

I have not heard of them but before you go too much farther in this direction, you might be able to design and build your own - all necessary components have to be available in one form or another because we now have filters for just about everything.
