Question:

I just bought a condo and the patio was leaking into my garage, which is below. There is water damage to the roof from the leak. There is evidence of mold on the wood. Can this be treated by spraying bleach on it??

Answer:

Not properly it can't. To rectify, you'll have to disassemble the portion that is leaking and do a proper repair on it before reassembling it. You should address this because rot tends to set in quite quckly.
