Question:
We have a roof turbine that is making so much noise every time it's windy. It sounds like a bird in pain. It's very annoying and I'm worried the neighbours will be calling us soon to complain about the noise. My husband has been up on the roof a few times to oil it but it has not solved the problem. Can you suggest something soon please before the neighbours will not like us?

You're lucky! It normally akes neighbours only a day or so before they start threatening with all kinds of nasty action. Your only choice here is to replace because the bearings in there are finished and there is no replacing them without replacing the whole unit.
