I have water coming through our dining room light. I found a small hole (nail hole?)in the roof by going in the attic. I cleared the ice build up off the roof in that area. Do you think I can repair the hole from outside/inside or am I looking at a new roof. I don't know how old the roof is. The gutter was filled with ice and the hole was 4 feet from the gutter so I am thinking that water backed up and found the hole.
