Question:

the house we recently purchased has an attached garage with a flat roof which also holds a deck. The deck now has to be removed to re-do the roof due to water leakage. My question is, do you know of any material that may be available that would be durable enough to cover and protect the roof but could also act as flooring if we were to use the roof top as a deck area again.

Answer:

Check with people who do carpeting on swimming pool decks and you can be sure they'll be able to help. The big problem with situations like this comes when the transition from deck to adjoining structure is poorly done.
