I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages are of using Clay Tile for your roof? What is the approximate cost difference between using Clay Tile or Asphalt shingles?

Answer:

The clay tiles will last longer but the most cost effective shingle remains the 20-year ashpalt product. The clay will also cost more but just how much more will depend a great deal on where you live.
