Question:

Ihave a roof that has a black substance on it and I'm not sure if it is mould or mildes. I have read your answers to both the problems but not sure what I'm dealing with. If the problem is mildew do I use straight vineger to remove or do I water it down?

Answer:

Actually, I've found that vinegar removes precious little but chlorine bleach does a better job.
