Question:

I live in a 3 year old two storey home. There is a two foot section in my dining room where there is cold air entry between the baseboard and the floor. During last week's cold snap there was even a small amount of ice in the area. What can I do to stop this cold air entry?

Answer:

You might want to remove the baseboards and introduce a caulking bead all along that wall.
