Question:

I thought I heard you tell a women from North Bay, Ontario on your show that "nothing" will take rust off fixtures, bathtubs or sinks. Well, I thought I would share with you that there is a product on the market that will do just that, as I found out a few weeks ago. It claims to be safe for septic tanks, contains no phosphates and is available from the water treatment people. My wife had tried every other commercial product available and nothing worked but this product works in less than a minute and the rust just runs off as if by magic.

Answer:

That's a product I've not heard of before. My system for rust removal from fixtures is an old toothbrush (not my favorite one) and toothpaste. It has always worked but I'm going to try your suggestion as soon as I get a chance.
