Imagine a main floor area 10 ft x 10ft where it all slopes towards the center halfway between the foundation and main bearing wall as if floor joists were installed crown down.(almost like a basement drain). I have strengthened the floor from below and stripped down to sub-floor in this room.Is there a type of concrete I can pour to level this? About 3/4" at it's lowest point.
Answer:
About the most logical way to level this off is to jack the centre and make the necessary adjustments on the basement support posts. Firring and then applying new sub-flooring looses too much height and at the same time, takes the room out of kilter with the rest of the house.
