Are there any options other than piles when building a foundation for a 1200 Sq.Ft house on landfill next to the Ottawa River. Who would be qualified to do this type of work in the Hawkesbury area?

You'll need a soil study and then your local building authority will something say as to what you'll have to use for foundation stability.
